Social Justice Statement
My spiritual path and the NSAW code of ethics call me to make social justice the focus of my work.In my work and in my own life I am keenly aware of the toll that oppression takes on people. Oppression steals our joy, takes our energy, and disconnects us from our power center of freedom. Oppression also kills! This is a safe space to process oppression and the toll it takes on your life. I am aware that with my points of oppression, I also live at points of privilege and will not know the experience of all of people. I am committed to doing my work, confronting my privilege, and giving up my power as I can. I encourage you to talk openly with me about your experiences and loving me call me out if I misstep.
With this is mind, my practice is committed to serving all people... all races/ethnicities, all gender expressions, all sexual orientations, people of all spiritual and religious paths(or none at all), all financial levels, people of varying abilities, and people across all spectrums of life. I will do my work to meet you with respect and genuine human love. Who ever you are and where ever you are on your life path, I am here for you.
Economic Justice and Mental Health
In an effort to promote economic justice in mental health, I offer a sliding scale to therapy clients. Fees for therapy will be discussed during our Free Consultation.
